Chapter 31

"Barrel-Aged Stout and Selling Out" is 30 chapters.

Chapter 1 begins small, with one man's inspiration to open a brewery in the mid 1980s, at a time that the United States was home to fewer than 200 breweries, yet tastes were being awakened, evolving past decades of Big Beer blandness.

Chapter 30 ends big, with that brewery sold to the world's largest beer company and growing wildly as the lead national and global craft brand for said world's largest beer company.

If there was a Chapter 31, and maybe some day there will be, it would look a lot like these two stories. Both have been published in recent months in the Chicago Tribune since the manuscript was submitted during the summer of 2017.

The story just keeps unfolding.
